LANCASTER, Massachusetts (11/2/09) D’Ambrosio Eye Care, Inc. with offices in Lancaster, Gardner and Acton has continued their efforts and commitment to community well being through participation in the American Cancer Society Greater Gardner Relay For Life held on June 12th & 13th, 2009.
"We are pleased to report that our employees not only walked the course at Mount Wachusett Community College, but they volunteered to staff the Lions Club Sight Mobile at the location as well. Further, their creativity and enthusiasm for the cause motivated them to hold a Yard Sale and Raffle where chances were sold for employee-designed and contributed raffle baskets, hold a "Dress Down Day” and circulate donation canisters available to support the Relay", said Francis D'Ambrosio Jr., M.D.
Through the generous contributions of patients and employees, D'Ambrosio Eye Care raised a total of $3,785.64 in donations to support of the American Cancer Society Greater Gardner Relay For Life. Dr. D'Ambrosio commented, "I am grateful to our patients and staff for their energy and work to help get one step closer to eliminating cancer."
